Trailer of one of the most debatable films 31st October  will be launched on August 31st ,2016. The film has been in news for its first time ever attempted subject.  31st October is the first film ever on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s assassination. 31st October 1984 is one of the darkest chapters in the history of India. It is the day, when the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her own bodyguards and what followed were days of mayhem!

Directed by a national award winner , the film is a true life story based on the events of that day and seeks to show the politics of communalism that followed. The movie stars Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das in the leading role. The sensational trailer for the movie will be released on August 31 at 13:30 hours at Cinepolis Fun Republic, Andheri West , Mumbai.

It depicts the story of Devender Singh (played by Das) and what is family had to face on that fateful day.

Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das are both veteran actors in the Bollywood film industry known for choosing unconventional and quality movies and 31stOctober is another movie of the same league.

Commenting on the trailer launch, Soha Ali Khan said , “As an actor I am extremely honoured to play a part in this movie and I am looking forward to see the audience reaction to our trailer”.

While Vir Das shared, “it is a true story that the world needs to see and experience. I am extremely proud to be a part of this movie and I am confident that the viewers will love the trailer”.

The movie is directed by National Award Winning Director Shivaji Lotan Patil and Written and produced by Harry Sachdeva under his banner Magical Dreams Productions and Co-produced  by Anand Prakash. 31st October will be hitting the theatres on October 7, 2016 and is a worldwide release by Panorama Studios who are fresh off a very successful release of Rustom.
